How to become the CEO of your life? This question has been tapped several times, especially for start-ups. You can hear everyone talking about it, and adding their own spin to this. In the beginning, there has never been this abundance of knowledge you get on being your own boss. Now it is evidently at your disposal. You are no longer alone trying to figure it all out for yourself.
Today, let’s listen to an interview with Noni Croft, who at the age of 19, decided to be her own boss. Now she’s a Qualified Yoga Teacher, Facilitator of life-changing online courses, educative workshops and inspired yoga teaching & soul shifting yoni awareness. She’ll provide us an insight about how you can become the CEO of your life, growing the confidence, clarity, and belief in yourself to build your ultimate business.
How did it all start? These are the intentional steps to guarantee success and be your own boss:
1. Decide what is important.
Decide that you want to become your own boss because of the realization that there is nothing that interests you- that there is nothing that sets your heart on fire except being the CEO of your own life. That means you can take care of every facet of your life spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially and there is no employee kind of role really suited for that.
2. Have a good routine of exercise.
Creating balance in life is also one significant tool to be able to function at your best and pursue your passion against all odds. Having a good routine of exercise be it yoga or meditation is something that one should never skip in life.
Many successful people and famous personalities like Oprah Winfrey, Jess Weiner (Linkedin CEO), just to name a few have embraced yoga to the core.
Isn’t it about time, human beings realized the sheer power of it too?
3. Setting Goals and Visualization.
Writing a Gratitude Diary or have knowledge of specific things that are going to bring peoples lives more balanced and more in harmony are some of the ways to set goals and visualize. Noni mused that one of her favorite international lecturers, Dr. Joe Dispenza puts it, ” By feeling and practicing gratitude in your waking day, you’re in a state to receive- you are in an energy that is drawing something to you on a moment-to-moment basis.
Being grateful for where you are right now and see where you want to go. Visualize where you want to go in the future. There are tools to tap this and one of which is by doing yoga or meditation.
One of the hardest things nowadays is we’re always in a hurry. Yet, the most important thing is to stop and to breathe; you can’t really know yourself when you’re always moving forward. Sometimes, you have to stay still and figure out where you are to know where you want to go. It’s a step of closing down your mind and body; taking deep breaths and then in your visualization into your meditation.
Let your whole body relax and go into your subconscious mind. Visualize what it would look like for you and how it affects all your senses until it manifests in your life.
In conclusion, there’s no better way but to quote what Dr. Joe Despazo said, “Each time you make a new choice that is in alignment with your future, you are priming your brain to install the neurological hardware to actually think, act, and feel like the person you want to be in your future”.
